Outpatient Treatment
Managed Care Center offers three
separate outpatient programs.
The
Adult General Outpatient Program is designed to
provide treatment services that facilitate recovery from
substance abuse and dependence for individuals who do not
require a more structured environment such as residential
services to achieve abstinence and meet treatment goals.
Individuals in this program attend groups during the evenings
Monday through Thursday. Individual counseling sessions are
provided a minimum of every two weeks. Individuals receive drug
and alcohol education, individual and group counseling, life
skills training (i.e. stress management and communication
skills) and other activities that enhance efforts at maintaining
recovery.
The Specialized Female Outpatient
Treatment Program is designed for women who are
pregnant or have dependent children. The program provides
trauma-informed and gender-specific treatment services that
facilitate recovery from substance abuse and dependence for
women who do not require a more structured environment. The
services are comprehensive and coordinated to facilitate stable
recovery and preservation of the individual’s family.
Individuals in this program attend groups during the mornings
and evenings Monday through Thursday. Individual counseling
sessions are provided a minimum of every two weeks. Individuals
receive drug and alcohol education, individual and group
counseling, parenting, life skills training (i.e. stress
management and communication skills) and other activities that
enhance efforts at maintaining recovery.
The
Adolescent Outpatient Program is for individuals ages
13 to 17 who do not require a more structured environment for
treatment such as residential services to achieve abstinence and
meet treatment goals. Young adults aged 18 to 21 may be admitted
when the screening process indicates the individual’s needs and
experiences are similar to those of adolescents clients. Family
participation is strongly encouraged beginning with the
development of an individualized treatment plan that addresses
all areas of concern identified in the assessment process.
Individuals attend individual sessions weekly and a minimum of
two groups per week. Family groups and home visits are an
integral part of the program to assist the family in developing
a commitment to recovery and to improve family functioning.
