Outpatient Treatment
Managed Care Center offers three outpatient programs. An intensive outpatient program, a supportive outpatient program, and a supportive outpatient program for women with dependent children. All programs operate on a sliding scale fee schedule. No clients are turned away because of their inability to pay for services.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Our intensive outpatient program is designed for adults who need an intensive drug and alcohol setting, but are stable enough not to need inpatient services. Our clients in this program attend groups during the evening Monday through Thursday. They are also required to attend individual counseling sessions at least every other week (more if needed). Besides drug and alcohol education, they receive information on life skills training (i.e. stress management and communication skills). Clients also engage in group counseling, assertiveness training, and other activities that enhance sobriety efforts.
Supportive Outpatient Program
Supportive outpatient treatment is designed for adults who have had previous treatment experience and can function well without a more intensive regimen. These clients attend treatment at least two hours weekly (sometimes more depending on need). It accommodates those who may work nights or live too far away to attend four nights a week. It is also used for clients who have graduated from either residential or intensive outpatient programs and need to work on relapse prevention issues.
Supportive Outpatient Program for Women with Dependent Children
Our supportive women’s outpatient program is for women with dependent children who need a program specifically designed for their special needs. They attend a group session weekly and also attend a weekly individual session. Child care is provided during the group sessions.
