Women’s Services
Managed Care Center, Inc. provides
specialized female services in our residential detoxification
program, intensive and supportive residential treatment and
outpatient treatment programs. These services are designed for
pregnant women and/or women with dependent children. The
services are gender-specific, trauma-informed and designed to
facilitate stable recovery and preservation of the client’s
family. Educational, individual and group counseling sessions
include information on relationships, physical or sexual abuse,
parenting, domestic violence, trauma resolution and life skills
including communication, assertiveness, and self-advocacy.

Screening and Assessment
The Women, family members and significant
others have personal and confidential access to professional
counselors for a thorough evaluation of the nature and extent of
the presenting problem. Thorough assessment by qualified
credentialed counselors is vital and affects all aspects of
appropriate care. Through the screening and assessment process
referral can be made to the appropriate level of service.
Counselors are trained in identifying and addressing substance
abuse and other issues.
