Youth Services
Managed Care Center, Inc. offers programs
for youth who may or may not be engaging in substance use and
abuse as well as youth who are exhibiting at-risk behaviors that
might lead to substance abuse. The prevention programs utilize
educational activities, alternative activities and
evidenced-based materials designed to prevent the use of
alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Indicated Prevention services
are available for youth who may already be experimenting with
drugs or who exhibit other high-risk behaviors. The goal is to
prevent or interrupt the onset or progression of substance abuse
in the early stages by identifying youth who are experiencing
early signs of substance abuse and other related problem
behaviors.
