Adult Treatment Counselor
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in chemical dependency treatment (one year work experience may be substituted for each year of college required.) Also requires LCDC or CI eligibility for immediate testing.
Duties and Responsibility for assessment intake and counseling for program clients and family groups for inpatient or
outpatient facility.
Licensed Vocational Nurse – Detox Unit
Qualifications and Skills: Current Vocational License in good standing required. Knowledge of substance abuse and the 12 step recovery process preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities: Performs physical assessments, monitors physical conditions, dispenses medication,
provides crisis intervention, and maintains clinical records, screens clients for admission, appropriate treatment and
provides educational groups.
House Managers – All treatment locations – Lubbock
Qualifications/Experience: One year experience in adult residential substance abuse setting – able to demonstrate cultural sensitivity and physically able to participate in recreational activities as required.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide close supervision and monitoring of residential client activities to ensure that clients complete all required activities.
Prevention Specialist – Amarillo Office only
Qualifications/Experience: Bachelors degree in human services or related field. LCDC or CI with 2000 hours of supervised work preferred and training and knowledge of child and adolescent development. Previous teaching, public speaking and experience with high-risk youth preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities: Completes screening, assessment and intake process for high-risk youth. Provides individual ,group and family intervention for eligible program participants and family members.
Residential Administrative Assistant
Qualifications and Skills:  High School Graduate with some college. Must have a minimum of 4 years office experience, including computer, bookkeeping, secretarial and receptionist skills. Understanding and knowledge of 12 step program helpful.
Duties and Responsibilities:  Prepares, submits, records and corrects reporting documents and billing for residential programs utilizing computerized agency information systems.  Provides clerical support for MCC residential program directors and staff, maintaining professional ethical relationships agencies and acting as liaison between administrative offices and residential facilities.
Qualifications and Skills: High School Graduate or GED with a minimum of two years cooking experience or equivalent training and experience in food service.
Duties and Responsibilities under direction of Food Manager : Prepares, seasons, cooks and serves food , cleans kitchen, dining room, dishes and equipment. Follows health and safety guidelines and reports unsafe situations.
